With a Republican supermajority in Jefferson City, measures to ban abortion, repeal paid sick leave and raise taxes on working families are being pushed onto the 2026 ballot. This is what coordinated, long-term organizing looks like — and it’s only accelerating.

But here’s the truth most people don’t want to admit:

This didn’t happen overnight. And it didn’t happen because of one man. It happened because too many of us tuned out, stayed silent, or assumed someone else would fight for democracy.

While we were distracted, extremists organized, mobilized, and took control. Now Missouri families are paying the price.
